Our first wedding of 2015 really set the tone for a great year! On the morning of the wedding, we met Gina and her maid of honor at Bladz Salon in Mooresville and then followed them to their church where we enjoyed a very laid back afternoon as they finished getting ready. From the first time I met Gina, she was always calm and her wedding day was no exception.
Michael and Gina's ceremony was very sweet and special and in no time at all, we were finishing up family formals. Before heading to Downtown Statesville to the Civic Center for their reception, we made one little stop to capture some super fun bridal party photos.
Their winter-themed decor in a beautiful shade of blue with pops of silver is one of the prettiest themes I've ever had the pleasure of photographing. Our second photographer did a great job capturing those details! The cake was, as usual, a beautiful creation by Sweet Thing Bakery, who is also located in downtown Statesville. Finger Florist of Lincolnton did a beautiful job incorporating the silver accents that Gina wanted, and CaspersDJ kept the party lively and had the bride and groom play a super fun game that had everyone laughing! The food was not only beautifully presented, but was also delicious - kudos to Liazzo's Catering for a job well done!
The night was just like Michael and Gina: all about family, connections, and love! I'm so honored that they chose the Sheri Allison Photography team to provide videography and photography for their big day. Check out our Facebook page for more images from this lovely wedding!
