I had the pleasure of meeting Shelley and Ayden for Ayden's first birthday cake smash - 6 years ago! It has been such an honor to watch him grow, to meet with them a few times a year to document the milestones of this family's life. I've photographed Ayden with Santa, I have photographed their extended family, and now I've had the honor of meeting their new son Owen, who is now 1! I love this family and I am proud to call them friends!
I just wanted to take a few minutes and express my thankfulness for all of the support we have received and everything we have experienced as a business this year. It has been absolutely mind boggling to think about all the changes we've been through.
From Sheri losing her "day job", to signing the lease on the studio space, to being trusted with more weddings than we ever have, to launching a Senior Rep plan, to offering Bundle of Joy baby plans, to hiring an Office Manager, to purchasing the editing company - our business has grown even more than we ever though possible.
We especially want to thank Amanda, of Amanda Prince Photography, without whom we wouldn't be where we are right now. Amanda and Sheri have worked together for 7 years and she has given more support, encouragement, and butt kicking than she even realizes. We want to thank Sean, of Drake Avenue Photography, who has been a great addition to the Sheri Allison Photography team. We want to thank our office manager, Amanda, who has helped to keep Sheri sane and on track through the busiest season to date. We also want to thank all of the wonderful vendors that we've had the pleasure to work with this year. You guys make the dreams of our brides and grooms come true and we get the pleasure of documenting it for them.
We want to thank our children, who pick up the slack at the house as we are gone more weekends than not, who are responsible for dinner most nights of the week as we're just too tired and too busy to care.
And of course, we want to thank each and every person who has shown us love and support while we chase our dreams. Every time you trust us with your family memories, every wedding we photograph, every birth, every milestone - you humble us with your belief in our abilities.
We'll still be in the studio and working, and we're still scheduling a limited number of family sessions through December. We look forward to some maternity, birth and newborn sessions, a few holiday events, and our holiday minis before the end of the year. But, as we put the finishing touches on the final 3 weddings of the year, we are also looking forward to the holiday season, spending time with our family, and awaiting our sweet little grandson.
We wish you love, joy, and peace during this holiday season.
With much appreciation,
Bobby and Sheri Allison
I had the pleasure of photographing this little sweetheart with Elizabeth Sweet. She was a perfect angel during our session and we had a really good time at Elizabeth's studio (also home of Brooke Moxley Photography). I think she looks just like her big sister, who really seems to be smitten with their new addition.
You can see more sneak peeks from their session HERE
I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful Kaylea for her bridals not only once, but TWICE! We got snowed in during our first bridal session, but then we got a break in the weather right before her wedding and we did some outdoor ones at her reception location!
Prepare for photo overload as I just couldn't narrow down the favorites any further than I have here!
PS - Just in case you're wondering, the indoor bridals were taken at the gorgeous Historic Sharpe House located in downtown Statesville and the outdoor session was at Fiddler's Grove in Union Grove, North Carolina.
